Will we lose any emails during migration?
No. We migrate historical email before the cutover, so your existing emails are already in Microsoft 365 before you switch. Post-cutover, all new email goes directly to Microsoft 365. We run verification checks to confirm completeness.
How long does email migration take?
The migration itself typically runs overnight. Planning, setup, and testing take 1–3 days before the migration date. For large migrations (100+ mailboxes) we plan a staged approach over several weeks.
Will staff need to do anything?
Staff will need to reconfigure Outlook or their mobile email app after cutover - we walk through this with each team or provide step-by-step instructions. For managed clients we configure devices remotely.
Can you migrate our shared mailboxes and distribution lists?
Yes. Shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes (meeting rooms), distribution groups, and contacts are all migrated and configured in Microsoft 365.
