Why This Matters

Why isn't pricing pre-filled?
Microsoft 365 pricing varies by agreement type, promotions, and changes over time, so a pre-filled number could easily be wrong. Use the price per seat from your own invoice for an accurate result.
What counts as an "active" seat here?

What does this miss?
Seats where someone is technically active but on a much higher tier than they need - that's a different kind of waste this simple calculator doesn't catch, along with unused add-ons like Teams Phone or Power BI Pro.
