Why This Matters

What does this actually check?
Your domain's root A/AAAA record (does the website resolve), MX record (can mail be delivered), whether the www subdomain resolves, and the TTL on your key records (how fast changes propagate). It also lists your authoritative nameservers.
Why would DNS be wrong if my website and email already work?
They often still work - stale or messy DNS usually shows up as an edge case: www not resolving after a host migration, a lingering MX record pointing at an old mail provider, or a TTL so high that a planned change takes a day to fully take effect. None of these break things immediately, which is exactly why they get left behind.
Should SPF, DKIM, and DMARC show up here?
